Senior Tax Analyst
 
Summary:
Our Client, A well established, Multi National, High Tech Company is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their Corporate Headquarters Tax Team.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of International, Transfer Pricing issues as well as having rolled up their sleeves to produce the FAS 109 accounting entries.
There is good long term potential with this company to continue on a solid career track towards a Director or VP of Tax down the road as these are the high demand, long term skills that you will need for the future in a growing industry.
 
Responsibilities:
This role has the primary responsibility for the calculation and compilation of the company's worldwide consolidated FAS109 provision for income taxes and related financial statement footnote with disclosures.
It is also the primary source for providing data and support to the outside service provider for preparation of the company's US, state and local income tax returns.
Provide timely and accurate analysis of tax accounts in response to requests from external auditors.
Develop and maintain corporate tax compliance calendar. Lead interface for federal and state income tax audits.
Assist with calculation and support of international transfer pricing and other special projects as required.
Serve as liaison between tax and finance functions.
 
Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of federal and state income tax laws and regulations.
Experience in preparation of the provision for income tax per FAS109.
5-8 years experience including public accounting, corporate or combination. CPA/MST designation preferred.
Experience with ERP systems preferred.
Experience utilizing tax software especially helpful
