Title: Principal Corporate Financial Analyst - Beverly, MA ($100k-$110k)

Principal Corporate Financial Analyst
 
Summary:
This position will be responsible for taking the forecast from all of the business units and entering it into a Company-wide template, creating and submitting a presentation each month to Management.  This position will own the transition of an Excel based process into a Corporate Reporting system that is currently being implemented. This is a terrific opportunity for a strong, individual contributor to ready themselves for a manager level position in a top tier environment. 
 
Responsibilities:
Direct preparation of corporate budgets and monthly financial forecasts
Develop and manage the corporate financial model to incorporate short term and long term financial projections, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis
Serve as corporate FP&A lead on the implementation and group-wide rollout of forecasting and budgeting system
Prepare various reports including cash flow fluctuation analysis and balance sheet fluctuation analysis
Develop templates to gather data to provide analysis
Support tracking of key benchmarks across the business groups
Partner with business unit finance teams on operating assumptions and financial projections
Investigate, analyze and present recommendations on various special projects and processes
Play a role in supporting financial analysis related to M&A projects and due diligence
Perform other ad hoc analysis as needed to understand business performance
 
Requirements:
5-7 years experience in corporate finance or strategic planning with increasing levels of responsibility
Bachelors in Finance, Business, Economics or related field required
Experience with complex financial models, including balance sheet and cash flow modeling, budgeting/forecasting, 5 year projections, liquidity forecasting, and bank covenant modeling
Previous exposure to merger and acquisition analysis and due diligence processes is helpful
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships at all levels of the organization
Proven team player, who is highly organized and achievement oriented
Strong initiative and drive, with a natural curiosity about business
Experience using PowerPoint and a strong background in Excel
